Over the distances stretching between,
Meals to sustain those who are not finicky,
Nights warmed by furs, dreams born of sugar herbs,
Inside the appetite equally satisfied by meat or greens,
Variances displayed across many meat and cheese trays,
Or…the Dear Omnivore’s appetite can swing either way,
Rattling many-a-cage with such indifferent, easy ways,
Everybody says, “There’s no such thing as someone eating either meat or greens”.
