Who the F*%k am I?

americana101

“Choose Again.”

I am just me – nothing special; A half-bred Shawnee Native/Danish Emigrant – 110% American…confused to my DNA. I am abnormal; with the tendency to be anti-social. I suffer from CPTSD and anxiety issues that have enslaved me in past times – that realistically may enslave me again, someday… who knows?

I have survived a near-fatal marriage and am not blind to the dark ways of the human race. I am ALL ABOUT offering support to people in need of it – in pretty much ANY context…I’m not a mutant. I am not a saint. I am not here to pass judgement on anybody or look down my nose.

I am just trying to be and let be. If I am able to offer support and help or gain insight from others along the way – that’s a plus in my opinion. I’d say that “I don’t bite”, but that’d make me a liar so I’ll leave it at “I’m approachable”; come say hello.

I am not here to fuck with anybody, so please do not be mean-spirited, or project your life’s baggage at me or my blogs.

Because, as much as Yours Truly may represent the good fight; and as true it may be that I am a lover – not a fighter; uncalled-for and ugly behavior just might win you an unexpected response from me in the wrong circumstances for you; RECOGNIZE.

I have ZERO tolerance for judgmental hypocrites online – FYI. Troll elsewhere.

I won’t lie down for your insecurities, and don’t ask you to lie down for mine…

I do not deny my own tendencies toward all things unhealthy…

I am human as it gets until I’m cornered into behaving like a wild animal, just sayin’…minty1

Hi A! Hope you are doing okay. I think of you often and never forget how much you mean to me. ❤
I’m doing a post on DV victims and how we need shelters for them AND their pets so they don’t stay. I’ll NEVER forget your story of the final day with your husband killing your dog and then (almost) you.
I would like to ask your permission to link that post you wrote about that. I will NOT if you’d rather I not. If not, would you mind if I mentioned a “fellow blogger” that lived with an animal abuser, too? If it IS okay, please reply with that link so I get it right. It’s your call babe. I will not if you’d rather.
Tomorrow I’m attending a DV workshop put on by our local women’s Services center. I want to advocate for DV survivors too, and you sweetie, are my #1 hero. Manz

  19. Great post…thanks for reading mine. I do find your first line to be a little self deprecating, not that my opinion of what you say should have any baring but you are special, you are the most special person in the world, your world. Many people fail to see that they are all that really counts. You are the only one you wake up with and the only one you got to bed with. If you have a partner they should think the same to but about themself and they should also recognize how special it is to find a significant other and share the gift of double happiness. I’m kinda tired so I’m not sure if this is coming out right or not? You are an absolute powerhouse of a woman. It takes guts to spill shit onto a page for the whole world to read and it’s not silly to say that many people aren’t as brave as you are. You probably feel at times that your words might be worthless but they are so not and you seem to hit chords with many people. Keep it up and don’t doubt yourself. Your insecurities stem from parental neurosis and your past and at times they are hard to overcome but once you realize they’re not really yours and the past has passed life gets a little easier. Blogging is very cathartic, or me anyway. If i don’t put words on the page my brain becomes clogged. Keep doing what you’re doing 😉

  38. Thanks for the drop by and like. Life is a journey that is nothing more or less of what you make it. Personally, I enjoy going through looking at life through clear lenses, not rose colored lenses, throwing in a sense of humor at just the right time to keep it light. I wish you well on your journey and always remember that if you stick your tongue out while smiling at a random person once a day will not only make you feel great, it will also leave them stupefied for hours on end. • Thank you for your good energy; it’s really a debilitating predicament for me…
my daughter started using meth at age 14, immediately following a sexual assault at the hands of an adult therapist she was court-ordered to see…
      her story is so tragic…
thanks again for taking your own time out of your own day to wish me well, duly noted.
